Record sales fuel new land release

Limited land supply and recent announcements of major LNG projects has fuelled the sell-out of the first five stages in Citimark Properties', premier lakeside residential estate, Emmadale Gardens in Kirkwood. Such is demand that more than one-quarter of the next stage released only 2 weeks ago has already been sold.
The latest release, The Reserve, comprises 39 homesites offering a mix of courtyard, traditional and elevated allotments ranging in price from $160,000 to $220,000. Land sizes range from 450m² to 2,300m² .
According to the developer, Citimark Properties, the estate continues to draw homeowners and investors who recognise the added value this established community has to offer.
"Over $2.5million in sales was achieved in June in the estate," said Residential Land Director for Citimark Properties, Mr Geoff McWilliam. "After achieving excellent results in the first six months of this year, we are excited to start the new financial year with this new land release.
"We believe strong demand will continue for Emmadale Gardens' homesites. With the limited supply of residential land driven by the LNG projects we expect The Reserve will sell out quickly," he said.
Mr McWilliam said Emmadale Garden's Estate Manager, Eileen Woodward was continuing to work with local Gladstone builders to compile a range of house and land packages priced from $428,000.
Purchasers within The Reserve have been 70% from the local market and 30% from the rest of Queensland.
When complete, Emmadale Gardens will comprise 300 residential lots incorporating an array of recreational amenities including a large central lake surrounded by hike and bike trails, a playground and barbeque area.
