Community Relations

Citimark prides itself on developing a unique range of developments which improve and add value to existing local areas and communities.  As such the company aims to support charitable organisations that provide support and facilitate community growth.

Recipients of Citimark’s 2009 sponsorship program include:

  • The Mater Foundation

    Medical research and health care

The Mater Foundation is a time-honoured philanthropic organisation devoted to providing compassionate health care to all Queenslanders. Donations raised through the Foundation aid the purchase of life-saving medical equipment, improve patient care and ensure their world-renowned research team can continue its valued work.

  • Yalari

    Not-for-profit organisation

Uniquely Australian, Yalari is a not-for-profit organisation committed to providing a ‘hand up’ to Indigenous children within remote communities through the provision of a first class education. This involves full boarding scholarships at leading private schools Australia wide.

Their robust selection processes serve as the foundation to allow them to successfully manage, monitor and mentor students through their schooling. Critical to Yalari’s success is its commitment to supporting the relationship between the students, their families, communities, schools, as well as corporate sponsors and philanthropic donors.

As a Gold corporate sponsor, Citimark were particularly drawn to the Yalari program because of its primary focus of leveraging education to create future indigenous leaders and to provide a pathway of prosperity for indigenous students.

“As Australians, we are all touched and judged by the plight of the indigenous community. As parents we believe our greatest gift to our children for their own prosperity and wellbeing is education. We have a lot of empathy with the Yalari program and are buoyed with its potential,” said Mr Robert Pullar, Citimark Properties’ Joint Managing Director.

“The Yalari scholarship programs are well managed in an environment that is highly supportive to the unique cultural and individual needs of indigenous students. We are proud to contribute to the education opportunities available to these students,” he said.
